Baseball in Chicago began the year on a somber note when long time sportscaster Harry Carey died. Not much was expected from Mike's Cubs that year and his first year in Minors-where kids actually pitched-wasn't expected to be a championship season. However sometimes the worm turns and this turned out to be that kind of season.
